Gökçeada Merkezi

The town centre consists of three districts;Yenimahalle ,Çınarlı and Fatih.In all three you can see examples of the old settlements on the island.All of Gökçeada's officialbuildings and shopping outlets are in the town centre.Among the places to see are the Merkez Camii(Central Mosque), an Ottoman era construction in the Çınarlı Districth,with the largest mosque Fatih Camii. There are two churches on town centre .
